Strawberry Jam
Yesterday me and Mr Noisy made strawberry Jam
It's very easy and yummy. The recipe I used had 1kg of strawberries and sugar, and one lemon, but I used,
200g of strawberries,
200g of sugar,(Sugar makes it set)
And the juice of 1 lemon.
(You can't the lemon, the lemon is to make it runny when making it and sticky once it's set.)
This didn't make a full jar for me, because we didn't have enough strawberries, and I thought I'd make a little bit because we might not like it,(but we loved it!).
1. Cut the strawberries into halves.
2. Put all the strawberries and the juice of the lemon in a pan (I used a saucepan) and put on a low heat, and stir continuously.
3. When the fruit has broken down a bit pour in all the sugar, stir continuously until the all sugar has dissolved.
4. Once the sugar has dissolved turn up the heat and let it boil for 5-6min.(Don't stir it.)
5. Put the heat down after 5-6min and take a small dollop and put it in the fridge for 1-2min to see if it's ready to set.
6. Take it out of the fridge and we are going to do the ripple/wrinkle test, you just take one finger and push it to see if it ripples/wrinkles, if it does then it's ready, if it doesn't let it boil for a couple more minutes.
I should look like this!
7. Let the jam set for 10min at least, otherwise the jam will rise to the top and there will be a jelly like substance at the bottom.(That's what I heard anyway, so it's best to follow the recipe.)
8. After 10min or more give the jam a good stir and put it in your jar.
AND YOUR DONE, I enjoyed making this recipe and it tastes delicious.
See you soon,
and I hope you enjoyed,
Yours sincerely,
*Ps: I didn't have any pictures so I got them from Google images, I didn't think about the blog when I was making it!

Flower wreath
Today we made a flower wreath, out of a egg tray.
Here is what you'll need:-
.A egg tray
.Some card
.Scissors
.Some green paper
.Paint
.Glue
1.First cut your egg tray along the marks.
2.Now shape the egg tray pieces into flowers.
3.you now need to paint the flowers anyway you like.(I got Mr Noisy and Smiley to paint the flowers I painted a couple.)
4. Now while the paint dries cut the paper into leaf shapes, and add leaf like lines to the leafs.
5. you will need to get your card and cut it into a ring.
6. And then you need to stick the leaves on the ring.
7.And then arrange the flowers on the ring, then stick them on.
And your done!
Bye for now,
Yours sincerely

The curriculum I follow
This is what I use for Maths and English.
For English I use, Galore Park.
Galore Park is a series of books, I am using the English ones, they have lot's of different books. If you would like to see here is the web:- https://www.galorepark.co.uk/.
We get the books second hand of ebay and places like that. The book I am using is, so you really want to learn English book 2. (the cover of my book is shown above.) The book I am using is 13+, there are books lower than this.
For Maths I use, conquer maths. Conquer maths is a online maths website which you have to pay for, I used to use Maths u see, it is a maths book, and is American, it costs around £80.00 per curriculum.
This is the conquer maths web:- http://www.conquermaths.com/
For Arabic I take lessons, and for Quran I have a private teacher.

A little about me.
Hello my name is Silver (well on here any way), I am 12 years old, and live in the UK,I have 2 Sisters,
the elder is 5 and, I will be calling her Smiley, and the younger which has just turned 1 today, I will be calling her Malrah, It's a nickname we gave her because whenever she goes hospital the Nurses call her Malrah.
And I have 1 Brother, he is also 5 because he is Smiley's twin, I will be calling him Mr Noisy, because he is very noisy indeed!
I am a Homeschooler as you should have guessed by the title, I enjoy Art, and at the moment I am doing the Silver Art's Award, I just completed the Bronze Art's Award last year in December, we are still waiting for results but our teacher said we might as well move on while we wait. I also like swimming, photography, archery (I have done archery a few times and enjoyed it, and would like to take archery lessons that are affordable), reading, science experiments, gardening, and things will be added in future if possible.
The main subjects that I study are English and Maths, I also study Arabic, Quran, Islamic studies, Urdu, bits of science, and will be restarting to do history.
Homeschooling is fun, and you get to be with your family, the people you most need. I used to go school but after I have started
Homeschooling I will never want to go back to school, (I might go to collage.)
Some people have asked me if I feel lonely, well the truth is I don't I have lot's of friends to hang out with, someone asked me once don't I get bored seeing the same people everyday?
At school do you see new people every single day, at school you see the same old boring people, and anyway it's good to spend time with your family.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comments.
Tomorrow if I can I will post what I use for work.
Bye for know,
Yours Sincerely
